OCMER ORM-200 Refractory Plant

The ORM-200 is a fully automatic refractory masses mixing and spraying plant.
It is normally adopted into steel plants for tundishes' maintenance.
It allows a controlled mixing with water of any kind of refractory mixes that are then conveyed and sprayed over the interested surfaces.
The dry masses are stored inside the charging silo where a pneumatically driven guillotine valve allows to regulate their fall into the mixing group. Here a worm conveyor doses and brings the dry mixes to the mixing device where a controlled quantity of water is added.
The refractory mass properly mixed with water falls by gravity into the feeding hopper of the vertical pumping group, from where it is pushed under pressure till the spraying pistol where compressed air is added as necessary.
Once started the plant works completely automatically and a single man can easily operate it.
A min./max. level electric probe placed inside the pumping group's feeding hopper regulate the start and stop of the mixing device, ensuring a continuous feeding to the pump. The nozzle man stop and start the pumping group simply by closing and opening the air valve at the pistol.
